Inspired by passion for helping people buy and sell their homes, Craig Olson and Ritchie Metzler left their corporate jobs to pursue the development of their own real estate brokerage.

Urban Pacific Real Estate is a different kind of real estate company. It grew from a shared vision of how home buying and selling should be; relaxed, fun, and interesting with a foundation of professionalism, knowledge, and quality service.

Ritchie Metzler

Born in Portland, raised in Tigard, and educated at the University of Oregon, Ritchie Metzler is a true Oregonian.

After receiving his BA in finance, Ritchie spent six years in finance and marketing before making the switch to real estate. Since becoming a realtor, he has sought ways to improve his market knowledge by participating in Portland Development Commission meetings and researching residential and commercial markets. Craig Olson

Following a successful career in commercial banking, Craig decided to pursue a new professional endeavor, where he could better utilize his innate people skills and uncanny knack for keeping his finger on the local pulse. He went into real estate in 2002 and later formed Urban Pacific in 2006, with an eye toward creating a fun, casual experience that matches clients with their ideal traditional home in the heart of the city.

As the company’s owner and principal broker, Craig remains keenly interested in fostering community and cultural development in the greater Portland area via the reestablishment of older homes and neighborhoods. When not taking new clients on his signature “Super Show” of homes, Craig can typically be found playing master of ceremonies at charity events and appearing on the occasional episode of HGTV’s My First Place.
